It has been a busy and fun weekend in the sunroom.
This one was so much fun. I went shopping at the dollar store for a coloring book for the elephant outline. Then sketched it on freezer paper, ironed the paper to the backside of the fabric and cut it out. It is not appliqued yet but we get the general idea. Fun and fast project.
This quilt is the little bright star baby quilt by Susan Fuquay. I got the pattern in Iowa a couple years ago. I added a border to make it rectangle rather than square but using the Strip Tube Ruler has made this pattern so much easier and faster than the first one I made with it.
Just had to use up those left over half square triangles from the large carpenter star quilt. I am trying to figure out what I can use this in as I have almost no fabric left. Everyone who has seen this one in the family is wishing it was coming their way. I will have to try this pattern again and again. :o)
Happy Week Everyone. May God Bless!
